DIAMOND FOLD CARD

(sorry about the fuzzy picture)

This diamond fold card was fun to do. It really only took marking a few measurements and making a few folds. I don't have a score-pal so I used an acrylic ruler and an embossing tool to score the paper before I folded it. It worked just fine.

I've been looking for an excuse to use up a pack of black cardstock that I got a few months back so I paired it with the shiny gold cardstock and added gold peel-offs for the corner details. The sheet music sticker came as part of a larger set of musical stickers that I had here at the house and I don't remember where I got it. I also added white cardstock on the reverse side of the diamond to make it easier to personalize.

If you can measure and fold, you can make this card! Why not give it a try? The following link will take you to the You Tube tutorial:

Have fun!

"R" IS FOR RUB-ONS

I love these rub-ons from Stampin'' Up! and I happen to have a whole package of black cardstock left over from another project. Put them together and you have a very quick and easy card!

I've made a lot of white cards with black accents, but it never occurred to me to do it the other way around until I had all this extra black cardstock. First I thought of using white ink (which would've worked well), then I remembered I had white rub-ons ... and a card was born!

Thanks for looking! Have a great week!

BEACH CARD

This was my submission for the beach card. I was battling migraines at the time, so I really wasn't up to doing too much ... and that's ok. Cards don't always have to be elaborate or time consuming. I like to make those when I have the time, but being able to make cards quickly using store bought embellishments also comes in handy. Now if only I could get myself to that beach ... lol.
