CHRISTMAS CARD No. 13

When I was a child we didn't decorate our house. We went to bed Christmas Eve and the house looked like it always did ... but ... when we woke up on Christmas Day there was a Christmas tree and decorations, presents, and a feast cooking in the kitchen. (I should mention that I come from a very large family and the older brothers and sisters took part in the miraculous midnight transformation.)

When I was coloring this ornament, I was reminded of those magical Christmas mornings and the joy they brought to my heart. I hope and pray that your Christmas is filled with the JOY of Jesus and His special gift for us all.

Merry Christmas!

CHRISTMAS CARD No. 12

I had fun with this one. I've been privileged to have some new Nestabilities to play with and I knew when I saw the shape of this one, that I wanted to have those reindeer bellies in the center of them. I spent a lot of time hemming and hawing about which papers to use and how many layers to make, etc. It was only after I walked away from it for awhile and then came back to it, that I settled on this layout.

I hope everyone is having a great week!

CHRISTMAS CARDs No. 5-11

CHRISTMAS CARD No. 11

I don't have any Santa stamps or images, so when I got this glittery Santa paper, I had to make him into a card right away. It was hard at first because I wanted to use an embellishment, but I didn't want to cover up his face. Finally I decided to layer the papers and then added the Believe sticker to the bottom.

CHRISTMAS CARDs No. 5-10
Are you wondering what happened to cards No. 5-10? I forgot to include the ones I made last summer to the count, so I'm calling them No. 5-10. There are more to come, so check back again tomorrow. :D

CHRISTMAS CARD No.4

As you can see, I'm still having fun with the nestabilities, the SU! top note die, and the goodies from the NEFC prize! It's been a LOT of fun. I hope you are all having a great day.

This beautiful Christmas Tree was part of a set of clear stamps that I won in the NEFC. Thanks again, Faye! I love them.

CHRISTMAS CARD No.1

This is the first card I've made since August and it feels so good to be able to work on them again; especially since I had the set of nestabilities all this time just waiting to be used. Needless to say, I'm addicted. They are so much fun to use. You'll definitely be seeing more cut shapes in future cards.

THE CARDS OF CHRISTMAS PAST

As some of you know, I've been battling with a neck injury. Among other things, it has kept me from crafting since August ... which means, I have no new Christmas cards to post. = ( With that in mind, I'm re-posting some oldies but goodies. I am finally at a point where I think I may be able to start crafting again in small doses (if that's even possible ... lol). Until then, here's a blast from the past.
