NO LEMONADE HERE :D

This is a tent-topper card that I made for a technique swap. As soon as I saw the layout, I knew I wanted to make this card. I've always loved this sentiment. hee hee hee

 

The image is the result of a google search for lemon coloring pages and the sentiment was just typed up on my computer. The thing that really makes the card for me is the decorative paper from Stampin' Up! I paired it with some yellow cardstock scraps I had and yellow striped grosgrain ribbon from RRRibbon.

HOUSE MOUSE CARD ~ SO SWEET!

When I saw that this week's challenge on House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge was So Sweet, I knew just the card I wanted to make:

I used a decoupage sheet from Joanna Sheen (cut up and layered), added lots of sprinkles (stickers) and tied it all up with bakery string (courtesy of Really Reasonable Ribbon). 

I have to tell you, I was seriously craving sugar the whole time I was working on this card, so when my DS informed me the van needed gassing up, we headed over to the station where all the donuts & pastries are on sale after 3pm. Yummy card AND yummy pastries = Priceless!

P.S. My brother who is a Police Officer told a group of Boy Scouts touring the Police Station that they are not Donuts ... they're Power Rings. :D
