FUN COPIC HAIR COLORS ~ COPIC COLOR CHART

Hello and welcome! I have had the privilege of taking Copic Training classes with Lori Craig and Michelle Houghton and they are both sweethearts with mad coloring skills. I had some down time recently and decided to use some of it to practice coloring hair with a fun and funky twist (inspired by some of their color choices).

It should be noted that five different people could color the same image with the same markers and have five very different images. The final result depends on how much color you lay down and how much you blend your colors. If you add your colors while the ink is still wet they will blend more, or you can wait until one layer is dry before adding your flicks of color to get more distinct streaks. It's all about your own preferences and techniques ... which is why I wanted to practice ... and play.

I hope I've inspired you to have some coloring fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs,

Snoopy, Thank you for the hair color chart. I do want to know if you know what copics to use for a true blond headed person. I have been trying to find out for a couple of years now. Edwina Brown

Hi Edwina,

Try these color combinations in different intensities in small square patches until you find the blend you like. Then start practicing on your image. Hope this helps. :D
