Hello and welcome to a very special House Mouse Monday as we continue with an amazing Blog Hop! For today's project I am using the Dreamweaver "Damask" Background Stencil two ways; with Dreamweaver "Silver" Embossing Paste (for the smaller background) and with Tim Holtz Distress Ink (for the larger background). The stamp is "Lip Smackin' Relaxin'" by Stampendous.

To make my background I taped my white card base to my work surface, then taped the stencil on top of the card and sponged some Tim Holtz Distress Ink over it to create a soft background.
I set aside the background to dry and used the stencil again on some blank white card stock and I spread the embossing paste over the stencil and wiped off the excess with a small spatula. Then I carefully peeled away the tape holding the stencil down and lifted the stencil off and cleaned it.

I set it aside to let the ink dry, colored my main image with Copic Markers, gathered my embellishments and tied a bow.

The final step was die cutting and matting my main image, putting it all together on a white card base, and adding my embellishments.
